"We loved nearly everything about our stay at the Grand Lake Lodge. The location, the view and the cabin retro vibe were fantastic! Our only complaint… In the Sears Roebuck duplex, the shower was the smallest we have ever seen. This one made showers in Europe seem spacious."

"There were no amenities, which, of course for the price, is what you get. However, I didn't expect to not be able to plug things in without the plug falling out of the hole, or not be able to turn the water on or off without mastering the exact correct position. Having to deal with tile cutting in the room next to mine at the end of a long day. No unobstructed view of the TV because of how they have the refrigerator and microwave wedged in...all in all, just not very pleased."

"Loved our summer stay at Loose Moose Lodge. Please add on the booking that it's not handicap accessible as it has some steps. The kitchen was pretty bare but they were happy we pointed out a # of things to them. They were on it!"

"We did not stay due to the Two rooms we started to check into had been smoked in and the order was unbearable. The front desk, canceled our reservation and statement to me he would start a the refund process but at this time my credit card was charged and I have not been refunded my fee."

"The rooms and common areas were very clean, very modern chic. There was a nice path out back to an outdoor sitting area, we even saw a fox hanging out while there! It was a nice, relaxing stay. We stayed in early summer, so it didn't get too hot. But the building does not seem to have central air, so this might be a better winter stay!"

"Love the location on the lake and proximity to the town. The property has been recently renovated and the work is ongoing. Rooms are small but functional and comfortable and now modernized. If you want a fantastic location this is an excellent choice."
