"There was an inconsiderate person above us that would stomp at very late times or very early in the morning. They would finally stop and then would start up again as soon as you'd get back to sleep. I guess you have to request to be on the third floor."

Would not have stayed the night if I’d seen these things before getting back to the room too late to leave….not worth it. Save and go somewhere else cleaner that won’t make you feel like your skin is crawling. Also pool looks like it’s been closed for a decade. Front desk guy was nice."

"Upon checkin the front desk gal charged me $50 more than my Expedia reservation, when I asked why, she stated the room rates where $269 a night, I said don't you have to honor the Expedia rate, and at first she acted like no, then when I showed her the reservation, she then changed her tune and stated it was a $25 security deposit per night, that would go towards my $75 pet fee. "This hotel was the cheapest rate we found for a newer hotel. The sweetness of the deal did not last as long as living with a budget hotel. The pro’s: the staff was nice, our tv worked the first two days, we loved having the mini fridge and microwave in the room. We asked a staff member what we should see in Benton Harbor. He told us they have a Walmart and did not recommend anything else. (We enjoyed South Haven and Holland, Mi. Benton Harbor has a high crime rate.) When we needed clean sheets I...

"Rooms were nice, the golf course view is kind of a stretch, you can see one hole, past the parking lot and train tracks. The harbor view was ok, but the rock piles kind of take away from that also. The tiki bar was nice, and the complimentary water, but the drinks were on the expensive side, small, and very watered down. The Plank was the highlight of the property, great service and good food. Overall I would give it a 6 out of 10."

What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...
