"We were excited for our stay until we got there. Dog hair everywhere, room smelled bad. Breakfast was awful, staff was rude and uncaring. Furniture was nasty microwave not clean refrigerator didn’t work very well. Even the hallway was covered in dog hair. Patio chairs filthy like no one even cared. Even the ice had a bad taste. Get it together will never book here again!!!"

"I stayed as a single traveler and was looking forward to a nice stay at the coast. I ended up leaving a day early. Pros; The staff were all extremely friendly. Cons; although housekeeping does the best that they can do, what they are dealing with is a very run down hotel. The carpet was FILTHY. This place is pet friendly and there were large dark spots everywhere. "Parking was good. Room clean, but small. No drawers for clothing, no closet, no chairs, just tiny stools, hard to keep towels dry as there were no towel racks. Refrigerator and microwave were convenient.OK for a day or two. When driving out from motel onto Highway 101, the South exit gives much better visibility of traffic during busy times."

"I enjoyed my time at the Anchor Inn! It is a unique place full of character and fun. The building is old, .but very clean. The room was perfect. comfortable bed, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, great shower and nicely decorated. The grounds are very nice, well maintained with lots of fun things for families. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. It was a great home away from home."
