"When we checked in - I assume that this was the last room available as I let them know it was my birthday but they weren’t able to accommodate anything better. The person at the front desk was not friendly nor was she helpful.
One we got into the room, we had a view of a wall with a ladder.
We weren’t able to use our phones as we had no reception in the room.
The fan in the room was blowing cold air so we set it to heat hoping that the room would warm up, the temperature just kept dropping....

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have been visiting Niagara on the Lake yearly for decades and this is our first stay at Shaw Club Hotel.
Our room was spotless. The linens for the beds and bathroom were very good quality. With the exception of a few noisy neighbours, the hotel is very quiet.
Our only criticisms are the poor lighting and lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. As well as the extremely difficult tap to operate in the shower.
Of note, the receptionist did not inquire about...

"The room was very nice. The staff was professional and very pleasant from the front desk to housekeeping. The private parking worked out really well. Downtown NOTL was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel....very convenient. The hotel also had a shuttle available to run guests into town and pick up in town as well. The breakfast was good too. All in all a very positive experience. "
