Wildwood Resort is an excellent place offering peace and quiet just don't go there in their offseason. A major drawback is the resort does not have any backup power such as a generator for IF the power goes out. During my stay there was a cold, windy,, rainy storm and the electricity went out and was out all night it was very cold in the 30's outside and it got very cold in my unit. I went to the office and a note was on the door saying that the staff had left early. There was no one available and I had to call twice for someone to come and help me get some heat in my very cold and dark room. I was brought a space heater. I had to sleep with all my clothes, a hat, and socks to stay warm. No one ever came later to see how I was or to apologize for the inconvenience that I sadly experienced because they have no generator power backup.
