"The Lady MacDonald Country Inn was a wonderful experience for our time in Banff. The staff were great hosts and incredibly helpful with any questions/concerns regarding our stay. They also made good, healthy breakfast to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The suite we stayed in was also very clean and kept well. Amenities that were offered were also wonderful. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this inn!"

"Great place! We've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. Nice and quiet despite being right next to the main highway. The individual cabins each have their own floor plan and unique features, so every stay will be different. We brought a cooler of food and sat out on the patio to eat dinners. Lovely, quiet and woodsy. The area surrounding is a lovely wooded community with light traffic and nice amenities."

"Very accommodating staff, bedroom clean and tidy. The pool was good, but the hot tub wasn't working. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but went to a great burger place (Patty's )in the square opposite. You pay for parking, $10.00 a night+gst. About a 30 minutes walk to the centre."

"This is an old property that expects too much from customer's pocket book. They should place a warning on their web page that freight trains go pass the hotel every couple of hours : morning, noon, night and overnight. No matter what any employee says about the trains, you still wake up when they go thundering by. The daily breakfast is a good value."

"The condo we stayed in at Silver Creek Lodge was clean, spacious and had every cooking utensil to make our stay comfortable. Jacob was a superstar. He did everything from checking us in as well as fixing the tv that we screwed up with the remote control. The view was exceptional. "I’m giving this hotel 3 stars. While the staff was good and friendly, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is perfectly fine, but our room and furniture were covered with dog hair. I expected the room to be properly cleaned before our arrival, regardless of the pet-friendly policy. Another downside is the location. The hotel is very close to a railway line, and the noise from passing trains can be quite disruptive, especially at night. Overall,...
