"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "

"Very spacious, clean room, but very little storage space for a couple. Everywhere was very bright, clean and spacious. The only problem with the breakfast was that the chairs were far too low for the tables. A wonderful location, ideal for exploring Stratford. "

We could adjust heating of the room to our liking. Lovely spa facilities to make use of including pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna room. Dinner and breakfast options fabulous. Tasty and well presented. Loads of parking in the grounds of the hotel. Wasnt aware of parking charge of £25 for one night, until after I booked."
