"The room was cold. The only hear was a heater in the bathroom that I ran all night long. They will not let the customers use the luggage carts. Only the bellboys were allowed to use them. I left early in the morning and the bellboys were not available so I had the carry my luggage and supplies from middle of the 4th floor to my vehicle. You have to park in the large parking lot about 1/4 mile away up several flight of step. The had a fireplace in the lobby with a mantle 4 feet around the fireplace. You were not allowed to sit or place anything on the mantle. You could not get close enough to feel the warmth of the fire. I was made to feel like I was in a strict boarding school with lots of rules.
The one thing I can say good about the place was the views."
"You couldn’t ask for a better location! A massive food court and visitors center is walkable, plus a very cute espresso/breakfast shop is located in one of the lodges, making your caffeine fix even closer! Our only complaint (and it seemed HUGE at the time, traveling with 3 kids): no TV in the room. Also, WiFi was available but didn’t work, cell signal was very low. It made it hard to unwind after a long day of Yellowstone Park driving. We also really were sad there was no microwave in the room. :( It did have a refrigerator."
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
6/10 Okay
"I did like the location, I liked the idea of the individual cabins, the rooftop seating was cool, the staff was friendly.
I believe our cabin could use a deep clean, there was accumulation of dirt in the corners in the bathroom, the carpet in the living room was dirty and stained, we had staff come back and clean the shower stall during our visit. The tv in the living room never worked after several attempts by maintenance. Most in this area are seasonal workers on staff. I felt we paid a little too much for what we got, (+$500 per night). Gardnier is a great place to stay to visit Yellowstone everyday. Close and easy in out. They do have suite rooms which may looked good when we peeked in."
"Great location. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff!
Room has not been updated in a while. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very loud. Fridge in room was not working. The staff replaced it but the replacement was not very effective either. "
"Staff was friendly and professional. Room, including bathroom, was clean with everything in working order. Room was quiet even though motel was full. Only issue was parking. There is not enough parking for late arrivals. I had to drive around twice before I figured out a safe place to park for the night."
"Front desk staff were very nice and were quick to fix a minor maintenance issue.
Breakfast is basic well stocked and clean. Pool and hot tub good after a long day touring. Pull out bed was not comfortable. Fan in bathroom was extremely loud. Price a little high for the age of the place. Food was left in the fridge from a previous guest. Location is excellent, close to main entrance to the park and within walking distance to food and shopping."
Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, an excelllent hotel for families and would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately the room I booked with bunkbed for kids was oversold, so they gave me a smaller room with 2 queens for 5 people. However, they comped us breakfast which was worth it. The on-site restaurant Black Sheep was very good, and service at the restaurant was excellent. There was a small pool with twisty slide which had very strong chlorine smell but the kids loved it. The rooms were very clean and modern with high quality bedding, and staff brought extra towels to our room promptly upon request. There were ice and water dispensers and coin laundry with 3 washers and 3 dryers, open 24 hours. The exercise room was clean and had massage chairs which were nice to sit in while waiting for laundry. We didn't use the game room but it looked clean and organized."
