"The building structure (largest log cabin the America) is so unique that it, by itself, warrants a stay. The amenities are a little limited, given the age of the building and the location. In the East wing, your room can feature your own personal view of the geyser. The staff was outstanding....very personable and helpful. The dinners were forgettable- short menu and not particularly well prepared (look for other options in the park). Conversely, the breakfasts were outstanding! Expansive buffet...

"Only stayed 1 of 2 nights booked because it was very dirty there. The bathroom had stains on the sick and toilet, the shower smelled like pee and there was a stain on the comforter. I am a solo female traveler and the door didn’t have a deadbolt either. The check in process was also a bit ridiculous."

"In Cooke for a 4 day sled trip. For our purpose everything was just fine. Food was pretty good. Staff was helpful enough. Had this been a vacation I would say the place is extremely dated, the rooms are small, the restaurant is only open in 2-3 hour increments, there is no vending or continental breakfast"

"Old, dirty, and bad view. The window view was just a neighboring wall/house. There’s a lot of creaking from the second floor, lots of noise next room and it was much more expensive than other similar hotels. Total disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else."

"Parking was easy even though it was pretty full. The hot tub was very warm. The pool could've been a touch warmer but the kids still loved it and swam for over an hour. They had fun playing air hockey in the game room but their favorite was cooking the provided smores around the fire. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is a little older but well taken care of and clean for its age. "
