"Clean room good breakfast section,"

"Small indoor pool that smelled overloaded with chlorine. A/C wasn't working and hotel sent us a box fan that was so noisy you couldn't watch tv or sleep. Construction noise was very loud and woke us up every morning by 8 o'clock clock. Room also was right over the trash bins so more noise with that. Bar was out of Chardonnay so was given an inferior white which cost us $12 per glass including tax. A little over the top with that price for not very good wine. "I rated 4 star instead of 5 for one reason, the size of the bathroom was too small. The room was large, in great condition, and spacious. The amenities were nice and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful. However the both the toilet and shower took away from the comfort."

"The hotel was nice and clean. It's not in a great area, but there is a lot of construction and seems like the area is getting a facelift. Real convenient off the 880 freeway. Lots of food options within 10 miles. But breakfast at the hotel was a great start to the day."

"No closet to hang clothes. Need instructions on how to use the tv. Had 2 remotes and no explanation as to what to do with them. Manage to turn it on but difficulty in finding a channel. Eventually just turned it off. Rooms had wooden floors so can hear the occupant next door move the desk chair. Load scraping noise across the floor each time they moved. "I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are really friendly, the hotel is very clean and they have FULL LENGTH MIRRORS! I really enjoy their breakfast. My only complaint is the the elevator is ungodly slow."

"We had booked a non-smoking room and we had to get up at 1:30am to let the front desk know someone was smoking weed and our room smelled horrible. The front desk guy just said sorry and moved us rooms a couple doors down, I would expect a different response and even a manager reaching out but nobody did. I will not be staying in this hotel again."

An old building, so you have to be okay with some creakiness; htough nicely renovated mostly. The sink has NOWHERE to put toiletries.
