"Easy parking, all the staff were very friendly. Room was clean and perfect for the night, breakfast was very good would happily stay again!"

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"Very disappointed that Blue Badge holders were forbidden to use the disabled parking spaces , as they were reserved for able body conference attendees. Doesn't the government have legislation on this?? We have stayed in a number of hotels in Harrogate, and this is our favourite ( so far)."

"The bar area was ok on entering our room it was cool and could smell damp ,some staff were helpful others were quite rude especially the older lady on reception when she barged into the dining area to shout at a member of staff In front of a busy breakfast sitting very very unprofessional and embarrassing for the young lady to be spoken to like that ."

"I would have expected a proper form of ventilation to the rooms during hotel spells and general circulation of air. The lack of air conditioning made the temperature of the rooms unbearable. Please looking into seeking solutions to this problem rather than using the age of the building as a reason to stop reinvestment."

"Room was good. Bed was comfortable. Oddly not enough spoons or cups laid for breakfast so we along with others had to take them from unoccupied tables. Paying for anything other than a simple black or white coffee at breakfast is really stingy. Great that they had EV charging points"
