"We had to make more than 3 calls and spent 1h on the phone just to get someone to speak to us and only later to give us the key to apartment. We than waited another 10min for the landlord to turn up. Beds in apartment were below standard and with horrible, bad quality mattresses. The daily rate charged was quite expensive given the poor quality of beds and matresses. That is not quality, but unacceptable state of affairs. "The Sunborn was not only value for money with the breakfast being included in the price but the venue was really beautiful. The view from the restaurant was spectacular as we watched the sun set over the city scape which then turned into the night time lights. "Top hotel! Right opposite the Canning Town tube station and only one stop away from the Greenwich tube station for getting to the O2. Room was lovely and clean and modern and the bed was super comfy and a decent sized double. The food was also very nice and the breakfast was one of the nicest that I’ve had at a hotel for quite a while! And the coffee was lovely! "As a first time visitor to London, I found this to be a great start to my trip. It’s very simple and user friendly experience. I enjoyed being able to pop down into the pub for a bev or even a pizza. Quite walkable as well, I took a lovely morning stroll with a chai and croissant from down the way! "Ideally situated for visiting the Royal Observatory, National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, etc. by way of a pleasant walk across the heath and through Greenwich Park. Also, the hotel is a short bus ride away from the O2 Arena, as well as Blackheath train station within 5 minutes walk, for access to central London. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
