"This stay was okay. If it wasn’t for the convenient train access I wasn’t too impressed. I expected more from a 5 star Novotel. They advertise early check in where available or with a fee; and upon arrival around 11:30am we were told it was simply not possible. Travelling with young kids I assumed check in would be as advertised and I was happy to pay a fee for the kids to rest… instead we went for lunch and had to nap in the lobby.
Other than that, the hotel was okay on cleanliness, dated and the room needed a deep clean (stains on the carpet, calcium buildup in the bathroom, etc)
The location is where it shines. Steps from the train, 10min walk into Greenwich and sightseeing, plenty of restaurants, grocery, and evening activities after a long day in London."
