"The pool area is unique and fun with a large Baja ledge and permanent sun loungers in the water. It is clean and inviting. Staff are extremely accommodating, anticipating your needs and helping whenever the can. The Apex is fun with unusual games for adults and kids and the 3 level go cart ride is wonderful! There is even a level of nonsmoking casino. The restaurants offer a nice range of choices at reasonable prices. Can’t wait to return. "

"Pros: Great check-in (we arrived around 9p, so not busy, but very pleasant interaction); room was completely redone - modern bathroom, laminate floors and a retro feel to the living space, which was super fun compared to the standard cookie-cutter rooms available nearby; comfortable lounge chairs placed in clusters around the property and lights along the building perimeters complimented the retro feel. "I've been coming to Westhaven Inn for close to 20 years, to visit family in Pollock Pines. I've always enjoyed staying here in the past because of the friendly staff, cleanliness, etc. Now under new ownership and management, the place is being completely renovated and updated to a new level of loveliness. "The checking was easy. I had prepaid for the stay. Miki was very helpful with my special needs accommodations. 1st floor, service animal. She was very nice and i enjoyed speaking with her. For me, simple is perfect. I needed very little. My room was efficient and was all i needed. The room was clean and bright. Nice bathroom and shower. Good water pressure and plenty of Hot water. My queen bed was comfortable. The sheets and pillow cases were clean and fresh. There was enough for space...
