Cari Cottage di Grimes

"My wife paid Expedia for the room in full when she booked it. I arrived on Sunday and on Monday my wife informed me that they had charge our credit card for two nights. I confronted the management with our payment to Expedia and the charge to our credit card and they said they would take care of it. When I checked out today, they had charged the entire amount to somebody else’s credit card in our name and our room number. Extremely unprofessional, considering they were asked to call me and they...

"This is a good clean hotel to stay at. We had a room upgrade so that enhanced the stay for sure. It does have minor cosmetic issues but that does not really affect our stay. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was what you would expect. Hot tub was clean and hot. The bed was a little to firm for our liking but was doable. All in all it’s a good place to stay clean and close to many attractions."

"Great service great breakfast great place and location"

"It was ok"

"beautiful hotel, clean rooms and helpful staff"

"I know it's an older building, but the halls smelled like an old folks home. The individual rooms were even worse and there was no way to properly vent or air out the room, it was almost overwhelming at first. The bathroom tile floor was visually clean but sticky like it had not been properly cleaned. The bed was harder than I'm used to. The walls were thin and I could make out the conversations and programs being watched in the next room. Thankfully, the neighbors didn't stay up too late."

"Great location!"

"The breakfast was the most disgusting breakfast I’ve ever had out of the thousands of hotels I’ve stayed in. None of the appliances in our room worked. We lost power in our room at one point, and the staff tried to blame us for charging our phones in the plugs in the lamps. They were not apologetic or friendly. Needless to say that will be our last visit to a comfort Inn and suites especially that one."
