"Convenient stopover for our bike trek with five of us. Unique and a little tired decor at this former motel but the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful and we were able to securely store our bikes inside. Nice breakfast. "

"This was a hidden little gem I wish I had found on previous trips. The local vibe and location are awesome. I will say that the only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars was due to two things. The cleaning crew left their cleaning supplies on the counter, not a huge deal, however, the loud neighbors at 2, 3, 4 am were a little overboard. "

"Exceptionally good hotel - wonderful comfortable room. Loved the decor. Friendly staff and the restaurant is to die for. The six course taster meal was one of the best meals I had in my life. "We arrived after a 7 and a half hour drive. The young man on reception was very polite and attentive. In our room, I realised that the bedding and pillows were feathers, which I have an extreme allergy to. My wife talked to him and within minutes, knocked on our door with complete new polyester (I assume) quilts and pillows. The next morning, we have been dealt with a very nice young lady and man. The location was perfect. Hidden away in a small wooded area, and still only 10 minutes walk to...

"Property is very close to train station and zanse schanse and staff was very helpful in accommodating our late check in, holding onto luggage at reception etc. Only thing to complain about was the soap in the shower was running low but we also didn't try ringing the reception to ask for more so can't dock them for that"

"Nice location right on the Quay, and 5 mins from the old town & port. We asked to drop luggage off before checking in (ferry arrived at 1000), but the staff went above and beyond and had our room ready early. That was a really nice touch. The bus stop is 2 mins walk, and from there it is very easy to connect to Amsterdam, Haarlem & anywhere else you can think of."

"Excellent hotel with free parking. Absolutely loved the room, really comfortable and the bath in the room was an unexpected surprise. It is an excellent base to kick off the cycle tour of North Holland. We did a 360km circular lasting six days starting from this hotel and ending on a high at the same hotel."
