Avoid, avoid, avoid..
The location is difficult to find. I spent at least half an hour in the area, trying to find it. Uber, Waze and Google do not take you there. Luckily, the uber driver was very patient and did his very best to take me there, although that meant he was losing money by wasting time with me. Upon arrival, I was told the room costs 50$ yet I booked it for 20$. Apologies were offered and ended up paying the intial price of $20 plus the 12% charge for the privilege of paying by card. 12%!! I had no choice but to pay it since I did not have enough cash with me. The check in was not smooth either, the card machine and printer had issues. Done in the end.
The hostel offers free airport transfer which is great, I told the member of staff that my flight is early morning and we need to leave at 4am. He said he will set the alarm, no problems. By 4:10 there was no sign of anybody being awake. I had to call the reception, a man answered. He had to call the driver to wake him up so we ended up leaving at 4:20..
The place is clean and feels more like an apartment rather than a hostel. Other members of staff were there, making a lot of noise after 10pm. It was difficult to get some much need rest after a long 9h bus journey.
Overall, a bad experience although I must admit that the 2 men that attended me were friendly and the place was clean. I hate leaving bad reviews but I don't want others to go through the same
