"Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stag. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the room was well appointed and comfortable. Our only concern was the presence of black mould in the shower and around the bathroom window. "Staff were friendly, the dining room had a lovely pub feel with its fire burning and welcoming atmosphere. Great location too!"

"Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast. Would have given five stars if there had not have been an issue where I was charged £56 parking for my one night stay, I questioned my bill to be told it’s a parking charge. I then asked how long do I get to stay, another lady said the charge was £17 and I was getting a refund. I was refunded the money with no apology just a mumbling about commission!"

"Clean, comfortable room. Lovely bed."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice, even for veggies.."

"Very enjoyable stay. Didn’t see anyone else at all during our stay, but access to the property and to our room was very easy with Gabriella’s information she sent the day before arrival. House and room were lovely and warm on arrival. Breakfast was self service ~ very nice and well laid out Would certainly stay again. Very convenient NCP car park directly opposite , which was only £11.00 for overnight parking. Great location, easy walk to the centre and theatre."
