Surprisingly well sound-proofed, which I was worried about due to being close to Bourbon St. The only thing that woke us up was a fog horn every night at like 1:30am from the shipyard. I had earplugs, so I could sleep through it, but my friend was out of luck. The main inconvenience to note is that the wifi was terrible. They seem to have a tiered wifi system where the free wifi mostly doesn't work (at least, not in our room). I couldn't even get ON the wifi most of the time. I didn't pay for the upgrade, so I can't speak to how well that would work."

"No. Did not have breakfast. The top, room darkening shade would not open or close and was stuck 3/4 closed on day one. The room was dark and gloomy. My wife had to use a blanket (held up by draping over chairs) to provide a makeshift cover at night in order to keep passersby from seeing into the room. When maintenance opened it on day 2 of our visit, we still had to pull it down manually in order to close it at night. Since we were there only two days, this made for an unpleasant visit. "
