"The room that I was given was too small. For the price that was paid for being on the beach, the room is expected to be an average size. This was not. Also, the walls are paper thin, literally. You could hear EVERY MOVEMENT AND WORD that was said from outside and adjoining rooms. Recommendation is a last resort. "

"Expedia let us down by not paying our payment to the hotel so we spent 45 mins on the phone to Expedia in the reception trying to explain that we had paid and they needed to moat the hotel but they were all A bunch of idiots at Expedia. Receptionist was unhelpful at first but eventually warmed up to our predicament. Room was lovely and breakfast was amazing"

"This was our second stay here, but unfortunately our last. We were greeted very well by the young lady on duty when we checked in at 3:00. However, our room had a mattress that needs to be replaced, (it made a noise every time I got up to go to the bathroom, which woke my husband up). The sink was very slow to drain, and there was water under the sink on the floor numerous times even though I put a towel down to soak it up. The soap products in the shower needed to be filled, plus the shower...

"Five-night stay. Our room was fresh, clean, and well maintained. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. The outdoor pool area was immaculate. The elevators were always clean. And extra gratitude to the breakfast kitchen staff. A spotlessly clean breakfast buffet and dining area. The food was delicious and the variety was impressive. The nicest you could ask for. We always look for a Hampton when we travel, and the Ft. Walton Beach hotel is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at."

" Check in was chaotic as they couldn’t even get the key card to read. Had to be let in room by staff and get key card later. Breakfast was terrible. Stale bagels that fall apart when pulling apart. Egg n Muffin soggy. No bacon EVER! Just a rubbery sausage patties. Was not impressed with our stay here. "

"Excellent service, temperature-controlled pool with lazy river, covenient bar caffe, restaurant and gift store in the property. Giant Chess available in the pool deck was a plus for my college son. To our surprise, the 2 queens room has the independend spaces like a separate mini room with one of the bed and dresser with TV and small living room space."
