The bathroom had an initial weird smell as well. The TV setup is at least 10-15 years old, but I assume they do not want to upgrade anything because they would have to charge more per night to "justify" the cost. The mattresses were exctremely thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. Again, you get what you pay for. Theres no way you can justify $140 per night rate, but this is Ventura so it is what it is. "

"Nice updated motel within a 5 minute walk to the pier. Quiet stay. Room was a bit small but very clean and well maintained. Bed was really comfortable and free breakfast was good. Plenty of parking right in front of my room. I like that the window opened for circulation. Several restaurants were within 5-10 minute walk. Will stay again when traveling to Ventura."
