"Location is a 10 minute walk to intercity bus station and 15 minutes to the historical area and tomb parks. The room was surprisingly quiet for the central location. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious with very good climate control. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was adequate. It was free and easy to park our rental car. Overall, it was a great choice if not staying in a hanok in the historic village."

"Little bit strange that at times there was no one at the front desk. But not a major problem unless you needed someone because only one towel for 2 people was supplied. "

"The shower setup was the stupidest that I have ever seen. It was not enclosed, so the water went end up all over the floor. Also, there were no switches near the beds to control the lights so you would have to get out of bed turn off the lights and climb back into bed in the dark."

"Clean and comfortable hostel. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveller. Breakfast was simple but great, rooms and bathroom were clean for a hostel and staff were nice. Walking distance to a number of attractions and restaurants. Would stay here again if I come back to Gyeongju!"

"Was a little nervous prior to check in as the property didn’t return my message till like 2 hours before check in time. But there was someone around when we arrived at 12 noon so all was good. Room was big and comfortable, I was hoping for a futon bed but got the king bedroom. If I had to complain it’s that the rubbish bin was outside so it was a little inconvenient. Location was good, possible to walk from bus station as well as most sites in the city. Host didn’t speak English but nothing that...

"Great stay at the Rivertain which is conveniently placed near many of the tourist attractions like the tomb complexes. Its also right next to the intercity bus terminal with the bus stop for rides around Gyeongju just 5mins away. The hotel itself is nice and clean, the room is spacious Water drainage in the shower was a little slow but otherwise everything was perfectly fine Staff are lovely Would recommend staying here"

"Useful location for walking to tomb and restaurants close. Cocktails at Bar Prep worth looking out for! Good advance comms re information how to get to them from station, things to do, restaurants etc Breakfast nice and varied. Good to have rooftop area but why no cushions on the seats? As has been mentioned in other reviews, plastic covering on beds bit hot and rustle. Nowhere to hang wet towels apart from one rail, had to leave one on wardrobe door each time. Receptionist spoke excellent...
