"The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive."

"We had originally booked South Point Cottage but didn’t end up staying there – the owner has a few properties and we were placed at South Point Abbey instead. The Abbey is a gorgeous old colonial villa right on the ocean, with four big bedrooms that could easily fit two families. The walls are built from coral stone, there’s a lovely pool, and you have direct access straight onto the beach. The staff were fantastic – they took care of everything and cooked the most amazing Sri Lankan...

"The villa was in a fabulous location right on a beach with clean, golden sand. The villa’s bedrooms were spacious, clean and each had its own on suite. Our extended family of 14 enjoyed the deck near the large swimming pool and also the deck chairs near the water. The staff looked after us like royalty and the chef and kitchen staff cooked us some delicious food. All in all we had an amazing week at South Point Villa and I thoroughly recommend it as an excellent place to stay."
