I observed other staff being friendly and welcoming to customers, not in a way that made them sound as though they had to be like that but because they genuinely behaved like that. The room was a good size very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food I had was good too. "Our second stay in this lovely b and b. The check in instructions are clear and simple, and as soon as you open the front door you are met with a warm, cosy atmosphere. All the rooms are different but equally beautiful, well furnished and comfortable. We stayed in number 4 this time, which was upstairs, overlooking Kingsbury Street. The breakfast was delicious and items were restocked every day. It was so nice to have a full bottle of milk instead of fiddly little packets that always run out. I...

"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "
