"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming
The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive.
This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"Room was clean and plenty spacious for us and the dogs. Even a blanket was left out to protect the bed/furniture which was good. Everything worked as it should in the room. Evening meal at the pub was lovely, couldn't fault it and service was good. Disappointed with smoked bacon on the breakfast as the menu doesn't state this and they had no unsmoked option. Rest of breakfast was good, continental options good and fresh coffee there waiting. Staff were attentive and friendly. The major problem...

"Good morning,
I just wanted to let you know that I experienced a few problems with breakfast during our stay.
Firstly, on Saturday morning, when I asked for a coffee, I was given a half cup of cold black coffee by a young man. I did not say anything at the time. The following morning, I bought my own coffee and noticed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served coffee in a small cafetière. I did not understand why this was not offered to me.
Also, on Sunday morning, I ordered Eggs...

"i was pleasantly surprised. the room was very nice and even had usb plugs. The shower was nice and hot and the bed very comfortable. "
