"The room was nice but one really horrible thing was that the shower floor was extremely slippery. I didn't have too much trouble but if my husband had used it it could have been bad since he is currently using a cane for back trouble. The staff at the concert were awesome since there were no seats available a few of them helped my husband off the floor and gave him a chair. Thank you so much. It made my night great"

"The room smelled like fresh paint when we got there but that got better as we got it cooled down in there. There was no lotion or soap in the bathroom at the sink, which sucked cause ya know, would like to wash our hands after using the bathroom. The room overall was clean."

"Lobby reception was amazing. When one of our guests needed a disposable razor, the receptionist came all the way up to our room to deliver a razor and shaving cream. Room service for cleaning was on-and-off: they left a “we honored your no-privacy sign” card on our door and did not clean our room despite us not leaving a no-privacy sign on."

From the outside this appears like any other highway motel with no-frills architecture and a good view of the interstate. "It was the best decision to stay at st james. It really gives you a royal , vintage and heritage vibe. The rooms are luxurious, majestic & king like . The Restaurant “Scarlet kitchen & Bar” is the best restaurant in town, the food we had was very flavorful , clean & made with love. The staff was very very generous & humble. The location is right in the middle of the town, everything seems to be at a walkable distance. Would highly recommended this place to everyone."
