"Really enjoyed our stay at this charming Inn. We stayed in the top floor unit which was a large two bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Large living room and dining area. The staff at both check in and at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Was not cheap but was a lot of room for the money. "This motel is not for older people. We are in our late 70’s and besides not receiving an email to let us know what room or code, there were other issues for us. Luckily there was a young man around on the property to help us out and get us our room # and code. The walkways are not suitable for older people, especially if you have a bit of a balance issue. They were small slabs of cement in between about 6 inches of stone. Stepping up to the porch, the step is a little higher than the average. The room we had was very tiny. Very clean and nicely decorated. 2 bar stools up against a narrow table built into the wall. Not suitable for older folks. The kitchenette had. All the things needed for preparing a simple meal. There was no suitcase stand, so either on the floor or bed to open. I don’t like those options. The queen bed was in a tight area with not much room on either side, and worst of all the very nice size TV was mounted on the wall next to the bed. It was adjustable and it was able to get pulled out and turned slightly to see from the bar stools or lay in bed and get s stiff neck. The bathroom is tiny, no shelf or cabinet to put things on except back of toilet or small space on the back of the sink. A few hooks on the door as well as the room had 6 wooden pegs for hanging stuff. The bathroom floor was not level, and shower floor was very slippery. The air worked well, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom floor was heated."

"From the moment we entered the property our experience was less than ideal. The staff member at the front desk should not be working in the hospitality industry. She never smiled and only conversed when required to give or get specific information. She was actually rude on a number of occasions during our stay and sighed deeply when having to respond to any questions or needs. Breakfast was very minimal, not what we expect when advertised as being included: 2 choices of dry cereal, toast, 1 variety of mini muffins, yogurt, apples, and instant oatmeal. There was a waffle maker, too. Very carb heavy with no protein to be seen. The property had a heavy musty odour, especially in the hallways. The elevator was scary - shuddering when moving and very loud. It would have been terrible to have a room near it! We used the stairs after rhe first time going up. The doors all squeaked loudly, especially the bathroom door. The closet door was broken. Coffee had splashed on one side of the tissue box cover prior to our stay and had been missed by cleaning staff, while the other was actually cracked with a piece broken off. The room darkening curtains were in disrepair and would hardly close. We are very tolerant travelers and all said this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed."

"This was our first time staying at Poconos Villa, and the place exceeded our expectations. We had the 3 bedroom condo, and it was very spacious, probably recently renovated, and clean. It made us wish we had a place of our very own like it. The villa included a resort fee, which was affordable. There were a couple of things we didn’t like about our place. First, it was a bit dusty; we could tell because my husband is highly sensitive to dust, which made him sneeze a lot and felt unwell. It was a good thing, we brought allergy meds though, and that took care of it. The second thing was the wall connecting to the other room was not sound proof, so we heard all the neighbor’s noise. Just a little warning, people at concierge will offer you to attend an hour meeting in order to sell a time-share property. However, they were very professional and not pushy. My family and I will definitely come back and stay there again."
