"We stayed here for 2 nights before catching our train at the station next door. It was perfect for that reason. It was also close to a mall that had decent restaurants to choose from. Room was obviously an old building, but it was updated with paint and comfortable chairs. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean and the room was quiet. Although the hotel had a restaurant the rooms only had paper cups for hot drinks in the room, which seemed a bit odd. It worked though. With extremely hot...

"The breakfast is the biggest shortcoming overall. 1. The breakfast time is only until 10 a.m. Who will get up that early? If this hotel aims to serve wealthy guests, wealthy guests do not get up that early. Extend it to 11 a.m. or at least 10:30 a.m. 2. The breakfast quality is quite poor, with very limited food. Neither the $20 nor the $40 option matches the hotel level. None of the five-star hotels or Relais & Châteaux member hotels has such a poor breakfast. 3. Mark the room view on Expedia...

"Perfect stay with lots of extra amenities. Staff was amazing and luggage hold was super helpful as we wanted to explore Lyon without carrying our bags around. We loved the location and extra thoughtful amenities like coffee machine and places to hang out. Merci pour tout!"
