"Rooms were not clean. Dusty floors, showers and fixtures like lamps and table ( I had a suite) . The couch in the suite was horrible. The shower was broken so I had to rig it to use it. They don’t have smart tvs! That is a must in 2026. For the money I expected better with cleanliness. Otherwise everything else was standard nothing exceptional "

"Room was fine and, importantly, clean. A small fridge would have been good though. Small disappointment. Also,thr ice machine was on a different floor View was nice. Staff were super nice and the location felt safe and an easy walk to restaurants and the subway. Not many amenities but the vibe was fine. We'd stay again."

"Staff were very nice but the vibe was bad. Reception is behind a thick plexiglass screen. They open a slot to talk to you. Our room on ground floor amplified every sound in the lobby. At midnight someone started playing loud Indian music at reception. 630AM they were vacuuming. It was all loud. We didn't sleep well. One night out of 3 paid was enough and we checked out. They refused any refund. Policy, we understand but still. We won't be back. Not recommended, at all."

"excellent, kind staff. one of the worst breakfasts i’ve had in a hotel. but at least i could grab things like seeds and hardboiled eggs for my room. maybe the more indulgent pastries and waffles, etc were better idk. but the kitchen staff was PHENOMENAL. customer service oriented, friendly, hardworking. kept the dining area clean and were very focused on treating guests well. filthy room, filthy laundry facilities. but overall, all the unpleasantries made better with a fantastic staff"

"clean room. great location. nice staff. This is an affordable hotel in the middle of it all. You can walk to all the shows. A trek to Dumbo is about 30 min by train. You can walk (1 mi or so—20 min at my pace) to both bus terminals. The rooms were clean. I didn’t hear noise or construction on the 26th floor. The only downside was the lobby bathroom was closed when my son tried to use it upon check out. It seems like no one was actively cleaning/repairing (whatever they claimed at the time) it at the time while we waited. We didn’t eat the breakfast bc we’re in NYC (bagels, duh!). Lots of ppl were milling about the dining area though. Go early if you don’t want chaos."

"I thought the Hotel Lobby was very nice. All the staff were friendly and I feel did an excellent job. The elevators and hallways were very nice. The room I had for myself was an adequate size and very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The door had some holes in it where the extra latch used to be. That certainly could have been filled in. The bathroom was very small and not in great condition. The tiles in the shower were old and the rain shower was kind of annoying because the shower was small. Because of the shape of the handheld sprayer, it sprayed everywhere. The door in the bathroom was chipped and in not nice condition. All in all, except for the bathroom, it was a perfect hotel and perfectly situated for my stay. Some updating of the bathrooms could make it a 4 star hotel."
