"This was the perfect hotel for our Cooperstown All-Star dreams park trip. We were two adults and had a room with a king bed and pull out couch. Our son slept there the first and last night of our trip and said the bed was comfortable. The room is right next to the elevator, but it was very quiet except for the last night. "The inn is very pretty. Make sure to have all the instructions available before you arrive. We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant."

"The Marx is about a 10 minute drive to All Star Village, which made it a convenient place to stay while my son stayed there. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The wallpaper and carpet needed replaced. It smells musty and the bathroom needs gutted. The treadmill in the gym was very old and there were only three pieces of equipment to use. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed the refrigerator that wasn't working in my room."

"The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."
