"The guy that helped fix the shower in our room was kind. The room was incredibly quiet. The breakfast didn’t have that much, just the basics. Coffee, juice, cereal & toast. You could make waffles if you wanted to. The comforters looked dated & there are hardly any amenities. The cost was $50 than we booked last year. The woman at check-in was short tempered."

"I found a tick in the bed that bit me twice. The WiFi code was expired. The bed was hard as a rock. There was no land line to call the office. I had to go to the restaurant to communicate. The sausage at breakfast was horrible. I had to spit it out. I made them give me credit for the second night. I told them I was not going to stay there another night. They did credit me on that but should have reimbursed on the first night also but I didn’t ask them to do that ."

"The desk staff were not very courteous and very unprofessional. The breakfast was not very good. The person at the desk was not helpful when asking questions about extra napkins and we were told the refrigerator was broken. The creamer for the coffee which needed refrigeration was left out at all times."

"Wasn’t told by anyone that pool was out of order until we got there. The TV in the room was messed up and could only get a few channels and young attendant at desk said so he didn’t know how to use the remote, but she did change up the battery for it. another attendant later told us that somehow the channels got scrambled.but he did help us go watch an MLB baseball game since the lobby TV was working. The breakfast waffles tasted bad."

"It was a nice clean room. The sink is not in the bathroom, which I didn’t catch in the pictures, I just don’t prefer that set up. The people were very nice. The “road noise” other people mentioned wasn’t an issue for us although we were in the front of the motel. "

"This Red Lion is conventient and inexensive. I stay there frequently when I'm working in the area. Having said this, there are some minor issues almost every time I stay. This time, the safty latch on the inside of the room door was busted out and completely missing. Also a pair of socks from a previous guest was left on the shelf above the coat hangers. "It was very nice and clean and quiet. However, none of the ice machines worked. It would have been nice if the staff would have let me know when I checked in so that I didn't have to check each floor to find out for myself. The breakfast was a little sad too. It might have been better advertised as continental and then be happily surprised."

"Loved our stay as the location was convenient to the Rail Trail along the river. Also an easy drive to the STL Arch and away from the hustle of the city. Anna was particularly interested in our comfort and satisfaction. Her professional and attentive manner was a delight. She genuinely seemed to care about our satisfaction and comfort. "I’ve stayed here plenty of time in which the other times were okay. But this time the room was dirty and smelled like mold and there was a strong smell coming from the drain. Worst stay ever. I couldn’t even stay there and they had no other rooms to switch me to. I reserved it for 2 nights and didn’t stay either I went to a friends house in town.
