"The hotel is in a good location, unfortunately we only had our room cleaned once while staying four nights. The room was always pretty warm, I also requested to switch rooms because we had a door that had access to another room but they denied my request saying that they didn’t have any more rooms. We were awakened by the next door guest alarm every morning and snooze at least twice. For the price you are paying for this hotel, you should get better service. The swimming pool was dirty. I won’t recommend this hotel, look for another place."

"The room had a smell. Luckily we were able to open the window and air it out. Most of the room comforts were unavailable."

"There was no warm water available and we were told it would not be fixed until 1 pm the following day. Our “no smoking” room had cigarette burns in the curtains and cigarette butts on the balcony. The air conditioning leaked water all over the carpet. The river view that I paid extra for was literally a glimpse of the river that you could see in between buildings. Terrible."

"We stayed at the kidcabin for 7. There are 6 of us. While the name is Kid Cabin, there is no indication that some of the beds are for little kids only…My tall child had to sleep with his feet outside the bed. There is like no sound insulation in the room too. I was inside the area with the bunk bed and could hear my family whispering through the wall like there is no barrier at all. And we can hear other customers opening and closing their doors. Many times, the sound made me think someone opened our door."

"The staff was friendly. My bed had a huge stain in the middle of it on the mattress. It showed through the sheet and while it wasn't on the sheet, you could still see it and it was gross. It looked like a blood or other bodily function stain. I got in super late from canceled flights and this was the only hotel with availability left so I had no other option, but that definitely needs to be taken care of."

"This hotel is a dump, the rooms are old and dated. the lobby smells like chlorine, fabuloso and 1970. The shuttle is old and beat up. not sure who is giving this hotel an 8 but it was not enjoyable."

"Embassy Suites has been a chain staple for my family of 4 as they are available in most cities and provide the room setup we need with at a standard we’ve come to expect. We’re not expecting luxury as we do when we stay at higher end places, but there are expectations. This location was a dump. Hilton should be embarrassed to own this in their portfolio. We stayed for one night on the return trip of a chicago to gatlinburg family road trip and i wish we just drove through or booked elsewhere. The embassy suites we stayed at on the way through Louisville to gatlinburg was excellent and this one was laughably bad. The room reeked of mildew and sewage so we switched to a room that smelled slightly less bad but still awful. The rooms were dirty with broken room elements, a wet carpet, black mold in the bathroom, pubes on the sheets. We skipped the free breakfast in the morning as there is no chance that the kitchen is safe and clean. Parking was confusing and Brian at the desk being friendly was the only thing saving a 1 star here. Do not book! This place needs a full overhaul/renovation or a wrecking ball through the front door. Awful stay!"
