"Great location for our birthday event in Cartmel. The chauffeur service was excellent and we utilised that every evening. Welcome from Francesca was warm and friendly but professional at all times. Good breakfast too. Room was warm despite inclement weather."

"Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

"Quaint old Inn. Badly let down by standards of cleanliness & maintenance. Dangerous broken toilet seat in bathroom. Also more disturbingly a used disposable razor from a previous guest in the same bathroom. The bedroom carpet was filthy, it even had plastic tags from clothes on the floor. Obviously had not been cleaned properly in weeks/months. Luckily another guest was a no show so we moved room. "Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy. The room was really clean and the decor was quirky and bright. It's a lively night spot (for a little town) so it wasn't the quietest place to sleep, but good value for money."

"I booked 2 rooms we were allocated rooms 12/14 on 2nd floor which were OK but could do with a revamp.Room 14 had a iron but no ironing board room 12 had a ironing board but no iron so we ending up sharing. Extractor fan not working in bathroom number 12.Both rooms had a view facing the main road and the traffic was constant from 5am.Car alarm going off several times during the night did not help sleeping (I know it was not the hotels fault).Breakfast was OK tea was luke warm from dispenser....
