"We recently stayed here for a weekend visit and had a generally positive experience. While there are a few areas currently undergoing transitions, the hotel served its purpose well and offered a solid stay for the price point.
The rooms and some of the amenities felt a bit dated, but everything was functional and clean. It’s clear the hotel is working on improvements, as parts of the building appeared to be under construction. This led to a unique setup for the gym, which was located in a hallway area, and unfortunately, the guest laundry was unavailable during our stay. However, given the competitive rates, these minor inconveniences didn't detract much from the overall value.
The breakfast was a highlight and provided a great start to our mornings. The spread included:
Scrambled eggs and sausage links
A "make-your-own" waffle station
Various continental items (pastries, cereal, etc.)
Regarding the staff, the atmosphere was somewhat transactional rather than warm. We noticed that when we spoke or said "good morning," we didn't typically get a verbal reply. That being said, they were perfectly professional when it came to our specific needs—they replied to and fulfilled our requests promptly, so we had no actual service issues.
If you are looking for a functional, well-priced spot for a quick trip, this is a good choice. Despite the construction and the quiet staff, it was a good stay for our weekend visit and worth the cost."
