"The sheets on our pullout bed were dirty and it holes in them. That’s where my kids slept. It was 11 o’clock at night and we couldn’t not get new sheets because there was no one available."

Two repair suggestions: bathtub drain needs tweaking; water went down before I could have a bath. Also, water leaks around sink faucets. Husband and I are glad we stayed- but it would have been respectful to tell us ahead of time that construction noise would be waking us at 8:00 am. Sincerely, Kathleen Donovan"

"We were there three days. The property is old but fairly well maintained. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The clerk at the desk was very nice but the fellow watching over the breakfast was thoroughly annoying, cutting in and taking over the process of my making my waffle. I was unable to have tea during my stay as they did not have any milk. Would have thought someone would have taken the initiative to go to the store to have milk on hand. No cereal option because of lack of...

"This property felt very nice new and clean. The beds were so comfortable!! The staff were all so nice and helpful. I would stay agin for sure!!"

"The Inn is older in the style I remember from summers at the shore. The room was clean, updated and well maintained. Everything was great. The reason I rated 4 out of 5 was because access is to the room is outside. OK for a summer visit when it is light out later in evening. In the dark and stormy dead of winter I would have had issues getting to the second floor."

"My stay was very nice. The shower stall needs to be drained properly. The water was backed up. Otherwise girls at the front desk were very helpful to us!!! We are coming back in the fall !!!!"

"The Lafayette Inn is a beautiful mansion, with lovely gardens, a welcoming entry and living area and fabulous staff. We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. Breakfast options were plenty and Kristen prepared the egg bites and pastries to perfection. The snacks, cookies, coffee, filtered water were amenities not often scene. The king room was comfortable and roomy. We highly recommend the Inn."

"Front Desk was very supportive, polite. They were quietly, behind the scene helping us to navigated through all personal issues we had at that time. David(front desk) reminded me a hotel manager from "Pretty Woman", who foresee and quietly resolves issues before they surface. Their breakfast was excellent. Their fries were delicious. We had various fresh berries every day. All personnel foresee your needs and offer/provide service before you know it. Great team!"
