"We enjoyed the atmosphere in the area. It was quiet and well maintained. The golf course across the street was pretty. The daily chicken visit was cute. It was drivable to shopping and the beach. Having a garage was nice. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of outside gear such as beach chairs, snorkeling and bikes to ride. The furnishings were clean but dated. "

"Staff and property are perfect for the area. The room was clean with a well equipped kitchen. The resort is a bit secluded from the already small secluded town of Hanalei. They do offer a shuttle service into town and back if needed. We loved our experience there and would stay at the resort again. "

"The location was perfect. The view from the bedrooms were gorgeous. The mats and items in the activity closet were great to have but washer and dryer weren’t in service for our week. "First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. "The property we stayed at had the quality of a fairly luxurious time share property, but for a fraction of the price. A short drive from Hanalei, and a short walk to a private beach. We had two full rooms, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a deck. I was also super pleased with the communication from their main staff member. However, be warned to read the fine print as you do have to pay a fairly costly cleaning fee as part of this rental. I would definitely go there again."
