"Was a very nice stay everything was excellent hotel was very nice for the price but I would only say that it’s not that close from Gatwick, you can’t walk from there to Gatwick with suitcases not convenient and also you have to get a bus and doing that early in the morning to catch a flight is not ideal and it’s £20 for two people to get the bus from Gatwick and then to Gatwick in the morning. "

"I don’t usually write reviews, but on this occasion I thought I must. This is quite a large, modern and clean hotel. Most media sites advertising this place will tell you that it only has limited parking. This is correct. I counted a total of just 33 parking spots and this number includes 4 maybe 5 spots for EV vehicles, plus another 2 handicap spots. What media advertising sites also fail to tell you is that it will also cost you an additional 15 pounds to park here each night, and that’s if...

"Efficient and very convenient location. Perfect for early departures. It was hard to get the rooom cool enough. I asked for the temp to be lowered which they have to do from the front desk but it didnt work very well. You have to use apps for everything. It is complicated. "

"Parking felt safe, covered by cctv. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Room was spacious and clean....carpet was the cleanest i've seen in a hotel room. Room had central heating, in room fridge, and hair dryer. Plenty of storage options and portable clothes rail. Staying here felt like home. Can hear flights taking off from gatwick... runway is across the road and you can see the tails of planes... but you soon filter it out. Overall, id recommend staying here"

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite. Our room was upgraded and we were given a 20% off food voucher but were unable to use in the restaurant we chose. Unfortunately our bathroom fan didn’t work but was an overall comfortable stay for our early flight"

"Hotel is easy to locate and convenient for access to motorway (M25) and into Reigate centre where I found a car charger and a curry house and other shops. Reception were welcoming, had to take luggage and golf clubs up a flight of stairs then to end of corridor, no lift I could see. Inconvenient but wouldn't be great for someone with less mobility. Room was a good size, bathroom clean. Shower gels etc provided as was tea, coffee, biscuits. All was dated in appearance though, from downstairs bar...

"Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."
