"DON’T FALL FOR THE PICTURES! This listing is a complete bait and switch. The photos they share on their listing do not match the property. This listing is for “Vinhomes”, the condo/apartments neighboring Landmark 81, not the actual Landmark itself. The unit my family and I booked was for a 3 bedroom(for 3 weeks), and when we first arrived they assigned us to a very dirty unkept 2 bedroom. Due to the inconvenience, they promised to give us 20% back on our deposit, which they never returned. During our 3 week stay, they only reached out once to see if we needed a room cleaning. We washed our own towels, took out our own trash(daily), because bugs easily find their way in, and even saw a mouse in the shower. The pool is outdoor and none of the amenities were communicated on how to access. The surrounding area is a good neighborhood to be in for Ho Chi Minh and safe to be around. But don’t be scammed into booking this property for what they offer at the price they do. "

"We never got to checked in with the hotel for the 3 weeks we stayed in Ho Chi Minh City. The whole thing was a scam. I have called Expedia several times asking for help, and nobody has been able to help us. Thank goodness for my cousin who got us a place to stay, because I can’t afford to pay another hotel. I’m very disappointed with Expedia staff. That was ours first time booking a vacation through Expedia, the flights were excellent but hotel are terrible never again we want to put ourselves into that position again. I didn’t want to deal with all the stress and didn’t want anyone to messed up ours vacation so I was just left it alone."

"Problems: • The “Get directions” link took me to a completely different hotel about 4 km away. • The address on the booking was also wrong (about two blocks away). • I went to several wrong locations with my luggage. One place was only a bar that had nothing to do with my hotel. • I had no local phone, so I had to turn on UK international roaming and make long calls to the numbers provided. • After about 30 minutes on the phone I was told my room had been given to someone else and I should go to “Demark 3” and wait while they arrange room. • I waited Demark 3 for 30 min , then was called again and I have been sent to another address, then waited again with no key until someone finally arrived after another 30 min. "
