Hotel was great, rooms were super clean, spacious and modern. Breakfast was amazing every day. Restaurants were all really high quality. Staff went above and beyond, so friendly.
Our stay at Dusit was very relaxing after long days of travel and touring the city it was so lovely coming back to a refreshing clean room. The stay was so nice we went to HCM and Phu Quoc came back and wanted to stay here again. Hung Luu at check in was very respectful and helpful both times we stayed. As well as Tram Anh at breakfast was very pleasant and kind. I would give them 10/5 for hospitality and will always stay here if ever back in Hanoi
Clean room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel staff are very helpful, enthusiastic and upgraded me to Deluxe Room, King Size, corner room. It was my return stay after trip to Ha Long Bay. This room is spacious with sofa area and cozy area for the bathroom. The amenities are great. They have a widespread of food for their buffet breakfast.
Check in hosts and concierge were great, the rooms were immaculate and the views of the neighbouring lake were fantastic. However service in the restaurant was extremely slow and disorganized.
What an amazing hotel with beyond-excellent staff! They just opened a few months ago and the room is spotless. Wonderful breakfast spread and nice Thai food at the Thai restaurant for lunch or dinner (it is a Thai chain of hotels). The best part of the hotel is the most polite, accommodating, and friendly staff I have met! Do have a chat with concierge Nellie, she is super knowledgeable, speaks well and have the best customer service mindset any employer would be blessed to have.
Location wise, there is not much to see around the hotel, but you can catch a taxi or GRAB (Asian “Uber”) to Old Quarters or anywhere. Great views from the rooftop pool which unfortunately I did not have time to use.

I have stayed at this hotel for a total of about 9 nights since it first opened. I really loved the crisp, rustling texture of the bedding provided in the room. Furthermore, I was very satisfied with the kindness of the staff. And, the sunset over West Lake viewed from the rooftop pool is incredibly beautiful. However, there are three drawbacks that I would like to point out.
First, the soundproofing is inadequate. It seems there is a public performance venue or something similar in front of the hotel where busking goes on until 10 PM. It was so loud that it interfered with my rest. Also, I was very uncomfortable because I could clearly hear the sounds of couples making love—whether it was from the next room or a different floor, I'm not sure.
Second, the breakfast selection is small, and the taste of the food is not up to par for a hotel of this caliber.
Third, the gym in the basement lacks variety in exercise equipment, and yoga mats are not provided, which made it impossible for me to do free-weight exercises that could substitute for the lack of machines.
In fact, the noise issue might vary depending on the time of the stay, but I believe it would be great if further investment were made in the quality of the food and the facilities of the gym.
On the other hand, the advantages are:
It is close to the airport. It takes about 25 minutes. The surrounding infrastructure is quite good. Hanoi's largest Lotte Mall is located earby, and the public security (safety/治安) is
Dusit is a one-of-a-kind hotel in Hanoi. It sits outside of the Old Quarter. It is actually more of a resort than a hotel. The gym is incredible, and the spa is even more impressive. Everything at Dusit was extremely clean and in good working order. The staff is beyond friendly and goes above and beyond at every opportunity. The food is excellent. My only negative is that the bar closes relatively early (10pm)
