Everything !!! But above all , all the staff are very helpful and welcoming .. always ready to help .. fantastic breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits and also cooked eggs…. Ms Mai, customer service was incredibly helpful and attended to all my enquiries .. would definitely stay here again

Dislike.....room without window(all windows are blocked). Need to pay more (Us 15) to get a room with window. But finally the room with no tv ...out of order. The receptionist is so rude after the payment. She seems very nice before we pay... Bad feeling. Bad sound proofing, can heard the sound of the upstair people

Loved my stay at the Ambassador Hanoi Hotel & Spa, Hanoi. Ms. Mai, was a great host and took really good care of us. She also managed to book us a last minute but lovely cruise to cover Ha Long Bay. Totally Recommend staying at this property and rest assured you will be well taken care off.

We booked the room because it had a terrace. Unfortunately it was unusable because of the construction in the neighbouring house it was full of dust, but overall the room was much nicer on the pictures than in reality.

This property should not be listed on any of the reputable sites because it is a scam. We were offered a room different from the one we booked online and that was filthy. In addition , the manager told us that we had to pay her extra because it was a better room while she had nothing else to offer us. From bugs crawling on the floor and beds to worn out beds, bedding and towels to overwhelming sewage smell, this “hotel” was disgusting. Also, the manager was a con artist and was all about selling us tour packages before even checking in and scamming us more. When I complained, she said that the pictures and description we saw online were for marketing. Luckily, we could move quickly to another hotel after I called Expedia. I wish I read the reviews of this dump on Google before booking and not just trusted the reviews on Expedia.com. The one star I put is to just be able to post this review because this place doesn’t deserve any stars.

There was ants in the bathroom and in the shower; if you left a cup with water in it; there would be ants crawling all over it the next day. Our bed linens felt damp; we notified reception of this issue ; they said to turn on the a/c but the power to the room would turn off whenever you left the room.There was contruction going on next door that started at 5am; could not get any sleep and there were "air fresheners" in the room; it was very pungent. This was an overrated hotel room for what we paid for. Also, they demanded that we paid in cash despite the booking saying that we could pay by credit card and the sticker on the front door saying that they accepted all the major credit cards. Location was great but could still hear all the noise from the traffic and the constant honking. Would not go back or recommend this place.

Hotel booked was under renovation with massive drilling works from 5am till 5pm Suggested I move to sister hotel which I did Sister hotel the tv did not work, I said ok let’s move in as I needed to have shower and meet people After resetting tv multiple times they brought in technician and I said I only had a few minutes before I shower and head out Translating did not work and I asked them to leave so I could get ready Staff assured me it would be fixed by the time I came back, it was not They ended up moving me to a double single bed room rather than a king bed room Still no English news channels as written in their hotel guide The staff were nice and helpful as possible, this was a huge management fail Breakfast was not as good as other reviews say either and restraints is not open after breakfast

I had the worse experience with this hotel, after staying in various hotels in my 4 weeks of travelling in Vietnam. At reception i was made aware that it was my lucky day that they still had the room booking for me as booked by third party, they don't trust even though they had my card details As i entered the hotel, awfully, musky smell hit me.small staircase to 4 floor and no help, both shower heads broken, waster going every where in the bathroom, musky bedsheets. I have stayed at many hotels on Vietnam as mentioned before but this experience was one to forget! I don't know why it was given i think the rating was 9. I'm getting it completely wrong or the reviews are not genuine

I had three rooms confirmed for myself, my sister, and her family. We arrived at 9 pm on Dec 19th after a full days drive with plans for a quick supper, then an early night as we would be leaving again for a tour the next morning. As we knew we would have to be up early, we intentionally booked a hotel in a quiet area, with easy access for the next morning’s pick up. We prepaid the full amount for the three rooms at the time of booking. On our arrival, we were informed that our rooms were not available as they had booked in other large groups, despite the confirmed reservation. They had moved our reservation to their sister hotel without any prior notification. As it was a Friday night, there was an extended wait for a taxi to take us to the new hotel. There was conflict between the taxi driver when one was found as he didn’t want to take all the bags. Two of us ended up walking to the hotel, rather than waiting for a second taxi. With these delays, it was over an hour before we could check in at the new hotel. The hotel we were moved to was in a very busy and loud area of the city. We also had to change our pick up with the tour company and leave earlier in the morning due to being moved to a less accessible area.

We booked an executive room with a balcony but upon arrival we were told that there was construction so that room would be too loud. So they put us in a “deluxe” room which was a downgrade. And on the way to the room, we were also told there was no hot water. The room was tiny with a small window looking into an ally and a tiny grimy bathroom. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The next morning we decided to leave (we were supposed to be there 4 nights), and were then told they could upgrade us—which they should have done in the first place. At any rate we left, and for a bit more money we stayed in a glorious hotel around the corner for the next three nights. I noticed that the room we booked was still available on the website, so I wonder if they were purposely overbooking. I would avoid this place.

We did not stay at Ambassador as the hotel texted us about its unavailability and suggested us to move to another nearby hotel. For this reason this review is not for Ambassador, and technically does not make sense when Ambassador reached out for reviews. The ratings we gave is for the hotel we eventually got moved to (Parklane Hotel) at 4 To Tich). Overall nothing bad but the hotel is about a 2.5 stars hotel.

Location X3! Hot & Cold running water in sink & shower. WiFi on all floors (when working). Clean for emerging country, they are happy to sell and book your tours. Friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to shop for the best price. Some rooms have NO windows. Pictures from room 501, large connecting room for 5, but one toilet and one shower.
