Incredibly friendly and helpful staff!! Every interaction we had with the individuals working the front desk was very warm. They made checking in/out easy and gave us great recommendations in the city for spots locals would frequent. The room was also very clean and was well stocked with soaps/coffee/tea for us to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Hanoi on a budget.

It was difficult to choose a place in such a large city as a first time visitor, but this hotel turned out to be perfect for my friend and I traveling on a moderate budget. The location is great, very near the lake (get up early to enjoy sunrise and exercise with thousands of locals before the traffic picks up!), and in walking distance to many sights and countless restaurants. Staff easily accommodated our very late arrival and offered very helpful recommendations, as well as arranging transportation yo Ninh Binh. There is an awesome banh mi stand just a few doors down and a nice little grocery store just around the corner. Thank you to the hotel staff for a great stay!

Wonderful location and the rooms ar lovely. They staff are incredibly helpful and always at the ready! Highly recommend them whenever staying in Hanoi!

They provided breakfast in the morning and the place was very clean and quiet. The room was really minimal with great views. Loved it!

This was a wonderful place to stay especially for the price. I had breakfast delivered to my room every morning and the staff were very helpful, even lended me an umbrella on days it was raining. The location was super convenient and walkable to many things. The only thing that threw me off a little was the shower is not separated from the bathroom/toilet but I got used to that.

Perfect location. Nice breakfast for Eurpeans. Small rooms, but everything worked perfectly! I even could enjoy Dutch radio on the tv. Also loved waterboiler.

The Maison Maravelle is an ideally positioned boutique in the Old Quarter. The hospitality and communication with the staff was excellent. I stayed in room 501 which was very clean, comfortable, the AC cooled the room quickly, shower temperature was great, Wi-Fi was solid and it was also quiet. Close to so many nice local cafes and restaurants, and the lake a stones throw away, I'd happily recommend a stay at Maison Maravelle for first time and repeat visitors to Hanoi.

Great place for the price. Staff was very nice. The location was perfect!! Two doors down was the greatest hole in the wall food and beer place. We were able to buy meals for locals that couldn't afford them. I watched them give out multiple free meals. I can't say enough the little restaurant. I would stay at this hotel because of that.

I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was quaint and cute, quiet and comfortable. It was in an excellent and convenient location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi too. The staff were sweet and helpful, and the price was very fair! Just a head’s up that the shower is not separate so it’s right next to the toilet, which Westerners aren’t used to, but I don’t have a problem with that as it’s common in many countries. Also, there wasn’t hot water but I haven’t found that in any hotel I’ve been to in Vietnam, I think because it’s usually just so hot and humid there. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!
