Hotel Maya
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and nicely decorated rooms and grounds. Multiple fire pits, nice little gym and a nice heated pool. They have a nice walking path on the harbor that allows for an easy walk to Queen Mary if you chose. The restaurant was under construction with limited hours so that was unfortunate. They only shuttle to Carnival for cruises so plan to use rideshare options. They do offer extended parking for a reasonable rate so that’s an option."

"5 stars all around. The room was very clean, and the staff is truly wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, and there is lots to do as well. Food and drinks are open late! Cannot wait to come back here."

"OK people, getting tired of reading negative reviews about the ship. She is 90 years old! She sailed the NORTH Atlantic. There is a reason why she doesn't have A/C-she didn't need it. You can't just put A/C, or heat for that matter, in a 90 year old ship. You have to adjust your expectations and if you do that, you'll have a grand time. I love every minute I am onboard and have booked another stay in November. The staff is wonderful and I slept quite well, and yes, the walls are thin so please, be amorous elsewhere."

"We stayed at the Hilton Long Beach right by the port as we were leaving on a carnival cruise the next morning. The staff that checked us in were very professional and friendly. I loved the ducks in the entry way and fountain. We took the free shuttle to the cruise port in the morning it was super convenient and the driver was nice."

"The pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were the best!!! Room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is the balcony. I wanted a balcony room because we like to sit out and just watch the scenery with coffee. There was a lot of bird poop on the balcony floor and it make me sick to even sit out there. I wished housekeeping would clean the balcony floors when they are like that. Other than that, our stay was amazing."

"I was very impressed with how clean and will put together my hotel was. Not only did they have all the utensils needed for cooking, but they also had shampoo conditioner and body wash in the shower if needed. The parking spaces were big enough that I wasn’t opening my door and slamming into the car next to me. The breakfast staff were extremely nice and helpful. They made sure that everything was stocked up and always had a smile and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. Would recommend 10 out of 10 to stay here again."

"We loved our stay at the Fairmont Breakers. The staff was so attentive and friendly. They even provided us with a vehicle to take us to our cruise. A true 5 star experience. We will definitely be coming back."
