"The esthetic of the buildings and grounds are very pleasing at first glance. In reality it appears to be an old econo lodge type motel remodeled with mcm details, but the musty smell remains in the room. The shower curtain liner was stained. The staff was very nice and the restaurant gets very busy for dinner with both guests and locals. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the menu was well planned. The property is not on the beach. There is a nature preserve across the street, about a 30 minute walk to get to the beach. There was no car access to the nature preserve during road work."

"We stayed at the BW, Harbor Springs for 4 days this August, 2026. We were pleasantly surprised with the room, grounds, pool and actual real egg breakfast with a fair amount of variety. Rooms were very clean and the staff was awesome. A+++ We will definitely stay there again."
