Gorgeous stay in elegant rooms. Perfectly located to access the nicest parts of Harrogate. Staff super friendly and helpful, parking outside, views over the Stray, delicious breakfast, stylish and cosy lounge. Very kindly also gave us a free upgrade which is such a rarity these days. Definitely our first choice in Harrogate.

Large clean well appointed room on the front. Good view but can be noisy from the traffic. Coffee machine, tea making, iron, hair drier and robes with a quality TV as well. Large bathroom with nice fluffy towels and a roll top bath. Large powerful shower as well. All spotless.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming not a good selection of draught beers but some in bottles and wine and spirits. The evening food was expensive but good but the breakfast was really marvellous. Bedroom was clean and very comfortable with king size bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking is available but first come first served.

Check in was smooth and efficient with friendly staff. There was a space for a fridge in the room but no actual fridge. We phoned reception to query this and they provided a fridge. We felt that parking was expensive (£15 a day) but, having secured a space, it was reserved for us for the length of our stay. We loved the hotel but it was a heatwave weekend and there was no air conditioning. They provided a fan but the room was very hot all weekend. We loved the quiet outdoor seating area where many a drink was consumed.
