"We absolutely loved our stay at the Palmer House\! The hotel is beautiful and has so much history and character\. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you can tell this isn’t just another hotel—it really feels like part of the Chicago experience\.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the city\. It’s also very close to the L train, which made getting around Chicago so convenient\. The hotel was clean, and we really enjoyed learning about its history and all the famous people who have stayed there over the years\.
The rooms could definitely use some updating\. My other complaint would be the beds and pillows\. I personally like a soft bed and soft pillows, and the bed felt pretty hard with a bouncy, springy feel\. The pillows were also too firm for my preference\. Of course, comfort is different for everyone, so someone who prefers a firmer bed may feel differently\.
I stayed here with my daughter for her very first concert, so this trip was already special, and staying at the Palmer House made it even more memorable\. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again\. The history, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and convenient location made it worth the stay\!"
