"Great hotel all round - we not expecting somewhere this nice in Woking.
The only downside was the service in Oxbo. Wow, slow is not the word. Possibly understaffed, but I was waiting for 29"
"Overall good value hotel and as a family, the kids loved the pool.
We had a family room and the bathroom (shower drain) was quite smelly so we kept the door shut. It was also very hot in the room which the staff have clearly tried to address with numerous air conditioners/fans but the reality of hotter summers and a beautiful old building that has been converted into lots of hotel rooms - means that this difficult to manage.
It’s a lovely countryside location and even has its own chickens and bees which was quite novel."
"I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Warbrook. We were travelling as a family of 5 plus a small dog - we therefore had a total of three rooms, 2 in the old house and one in the Grange which is about 200m away from the old house. All rooms were clean and appeared recently decorated / renovated. I was really impressed with the rooms. The bed was comfortable (a little soft to my personal taste) and the bathrooms were great with rain showers. Rooms had all the facilities one would expect - tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hair dryer etc... The only negative I would say and this was only evident during a heatwave, was there were no airconditioning in the rooms. There were however, very capable tower fans which aided a good nights sleep - even though they were a little noisy. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful (Sonya) and the staff at breakfast were also efficient and friendly. Breakfast was really good - the sausages and the scrambled eggs are worthy of special mention. The grounds and setting are really worth half an hour to explore. I recommend walking around the lake in the early morning - I saw plenty of dear and birdlife and it opens up a spectacular vista of the old house. when we arrived, there was a wedding taking place in a part of the grounds - that said, it didn't interfere with our stay at all and no noise could be heard from our rooms. I feel that a real effort is being made by this hotel and I applaud their efforts. I would stay again."
"Just came back from a 3 night stay and I can highly recommend it.
We booked the room with the king size bed in the old part of the building. We did have to get up a small flight of stairs which also had another mini set of stairs inside the room which made it very quirky but might not be great for the older folk. We didn't have aircon in our room and it was super hot and I imagine it's because it's a grade 2 listed building but they did provide a large fan which did help.
We booked the room with breakfast included but just like most of the reviews that I had already seen this was very hit and miss. Full English was available but came out luke warm and not very well presented, so ended up opting for other options instead.
The spa was lovely, like I've already mentioned it was very hot at the time of our stay so made full use of the sun loungers. It was very much like a holiday abroad little dip in the pool to return to the sunbed to dry out, sunbathe and read a book. It was Perfect! Even tried to book another night as we didn't want to leave but they were fully booked."
"This Hotel was truly lovely 🥰 great friendly staff food was great too yes definitely will be coming back as we also stayed another night brilliant . Rooms are great too anything you needed staff would help and get . Parking is free which is a bonus in every way 5 ⭐ this is a 👍👍😊."
"Flawless experience from start to finish! Check-In was easy, smooth and welcoming.
Room was clean, fresh and well laid out with everything needed including an Iron and board!
Breakfast had an exceptional range of options from traditional full English, continental and fruit as well as pancakes.
Check out was just as great and staff were super nice as we left"
"Had a wonderful overnight stay at the hotel and made use of the spa, which although small was perfect for a hour to relax in amd wasn't crowded. The hotel is in a great location at the top of the high st so we were able to explore the town as well as use the hotel facilities. The bedroom was comfortable and large. The only negative was that the extractor fan wasn't working in the bathroom so it took ages to demise. Plenty of choice for breakfast but could have had more staff on to clear tables. All in all a great stay and would recommend Harbour Hotel"
