"Anticipation of staying at the Hyatt regency gave us high expectations. The woman checking us in had informed us that she could provide us with vouchers for the buffet since we had paid for the regency club upgrade. We came back down the following day after we tried what was offered to get vouchers for the buffet and were told they don't offer that option. They also wouldn't add the stay to our rewards account since the trip was booked through Expedia. Didn't understand why.
After getting there, we came to find out that the facility was showing its age. The hallway had blowers going all week long due to some leak. The toilet in the room leaked. There were rags and things that were left in our room. One of The two coffee machines was out of service for two of the days we were there and the flavored water machine was broken for five of the seven days we were there. We went for the additional fee to include meals. After experiencing what was offered, we would not do this again. We found the quality and variety somewhat questionable.
Our room was on the side of the building so we did have a beach/ocean view.
It is unknown what the other properties in the area are like or have to offer, but would most likely check out a different place of I do go back."
