Top Hawaii Hotel Reviews

'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach
10/10 Excellent
"The Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach staff and service was top notch. It’s a stone throw from the beach and also provides free beach chairs and umbrella rentals via a third party a few blocks away from the hotel. The only thing the room could use is a microwave. Also be aware that parking at the hotel garage is on the expensive side at $50/day. A 10-day stay cost $500 in parking alone."

OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This property is across the street from the beach. Restaurants and shopping next door. Hotel is very clean! Lots of views of the ocean."

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort
2/10 Terrible
"Disgusting hotel rooms. Dead bugs under bed. Sheets had stains. Unhealthy and unsanitary rooms. Made me want to barf… I had to sleep in a rental car until I rented another hotel room at a different resort… they also charged me over $100 in long distance phone calls when I didn’t even use their hotel phone. This place is a scam and discusting. Stay away please"

Maui Coast Hotel
8/10 Good
"I appreciated that the hotel offered complimentary self-service laundry facilities, which can be very helpful for travelers. Unfortunately, the experience became frustrating when the washing machine was not operating properly and I asked for assistance. What disappointed me most was not the machine itself, but the response from management. When I approached the hotel for help, I was essentially told to “Google the solution” instead of being offered assistance, troubleshooting guidance, or support. Even if the laundry area is self-service, basic hospitality would suggest helping guests navigate an issue with an amenity provided by the hotel. Problems can happen anywhere, and most guests understand that. What leaves a lasting impression is how staff and management respond when assistance is requested. In this case, the interaction felt dismissive and lacking in customer service professionalism. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and improves the level of guest support moving forward."

Prince Waikiki
4/10 Poor
"Very disappointing experience, especially for families travelling with infants. Unfortunately, this was the only negative part of our Hawaii trip. Communication regarding the authorization hold was inconsistent at check-in, which created unnecessary confusion and stress. We also experienced extremely slow service for a simple request for plates and bowls to prepare baby food, eventually needing to purchase them ourselves after waiting over 45 minutes while our baby was hungry. The biggest frustration was the late checkout situation. We were initially told complimentary checkout until 1 PM was available, only to have that reversed later the same morning. For guests travelling with a newborn, the lack of flexibility was disappointing — especially when the hotel suggested paying for an additional night but still could not guarantee room access before 4 PM. To make matters worse, the “king bed” did not feel like a true king size and was noticeably smaller than expected for a family travelling with a baby. Luxury hospitality should include convenience, communication, and compassion for families. Unfortunately, this stay felt more policy-focused than guest-focused, and I would not recommend this property to friends or family travelling with infants. Also, rooms for the following night still appeared available online at the time."

Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach
4/10 Poor
"Positives- the staff were amazing and incredibly friendly/accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Negatives- I paid extra for a diamond head view. Not only could I barely see it (unlike the advertised pictures they show on here to make it more appealing) but my balcony wouldn’t open. I feel like I was ripped off for the extra however much for the “view” I received but whatever… The shower had horrible pressure & literally stopped and squeaked at multiple moments during so… there’s that. The toilet also screamed every time it was flushed which meant you couldn’t flush if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Really weird. It was okay because we were barely in the room but I definitely won’t be booking here again. 2.5/5"

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great. They even switched my mom's room when she wasn't really satisfied with the original one that was given. The only problem I had was the hidden fee that wasn't originally explained."

Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms are clean, we had a balcony room with a great view. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Great vibes all around. Everything smelled good 👍 Had a bar(didn't go) had buffet breakfast. Pool looked decent, we just use the lounge chair (comfortable) Had many more amenities inside the hotel. We received a gift from booking which we as cool. Both something from the gift shop. Many things around the hotel as well. Definitely a popular place to be, mall is a brisk walk off the second floor."

The Twin Fin Hotel
