"Dan was a great host and the breakfast each morning was amazing. It felt like we were in actual Hawaii and not just another tourist hotel. he also showed us around the property and took extra time sharing about Kona coffee and gave us some delicious fruit right off the tree. "

"The staff were excellent and very nice. The property is very convenient location wise, but also small. The pool was decent, but the storm didn’t allow for much swimming. Morning poolside yoga was a nice activity and basic amenities were available. They brought a microphone my room which was very accommodating and local food is delicious speaking to the convenience of the area. "

"It is a good hotel but don't expect anything special, even for the high price. There is coffee in the room, but only paper cups. The ocean view isn't actually ocean view, it is only partial because your actual view are the other balconies across from you. You have to lean out and to the side to see the water. The beach is nice but has no chairs or umbrellas. You could only rent a cabana for additional $$. Room was clean but the daily cleaning was not that thourough. Closet space was small. Pool...

"Room was 241 was horrible. When asked the owner to correct the issues They just accused us of insane things and ignored us. We paid to move respond. Expedia only reimbursed 1/2 because owner said they addressed it even though they didn’t. We had many pictures showing issues and zero attempt was made to correct it. Will we be use Expedia gain "

"The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. "Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area.
