Mistake was made during booking. Ended up paying twice for 1 night. The property refused the refund.

The building is old and needs updating. Some outlets didn’t work. The beds were clean but bathroom wasn’t squeaky clean. Towels needs upgrading as they were threadbare. We had 3 rooms and traveling with teenagers. We felt safe and it was ok for one night.

The room was dirty. It had cigarette burns on the sheets. There was hair in the bathroom. The walls had paint spots, the metal was rusting.

This was a pretty good place to stay - nothing to rave about, but nothing too bad. It could use some upgrading, but was comfortable overall. Good location near everything.

It was a smoking room and the carpet had cigarette in it. And the comforter did to. There was a blood stain on the wall from a smash bug. The towels where very wore out and small. There was spotting on the Box springs, and they had not cleaned under the ac unit in some time. Very heavy dust, and a penny and neck less. Signs of mold started in the chalking in the bath room. I stayed about a hour and decided I could not stay there and just left.

overnight stay
We stayed one night enroute to moving out of town. Our beds were uncomfortable and lumpy, mattresses were not soft or supportive. As exhausted as we were from packing all day, we had a difficult time falling asleep and getting comfortable on those beds. Room was relatively clean but carpets needed vacuuming. It was ok for a one night stay but I wouldn't return or recommend to stay longer.

At least it doesn't cost much.
I really didn't expect much for $$ ... but just some easy things would make it better. Front desk cluttered and dirty looking - the entry had been painted, but the painter left the trim tape all around so it just looked bad. Carpet was dirty. The general smell was of "old food" - did not smell "fresh & clean". In my room, pretty fresh paint, but again the bad paint job with paint all over the trim. Just looks bad. The TV was like the one I threw out ten years ago.

was very disappointed! the coffee pot was really dirty looked like had been cleaned in months, when told them they took it a wiped it down and still came back dirty. corroded faucets in tub, had to ask for things room never cleaned

Run down motel
I made reservations for a non smoking room and received a smoking room that was extremely dirty. There was tar all along the walls. The breakfast consisted of cinnamon rolls in wrappers and frozen waffles that were left to sit out. Probably would never stay here again even if I got a non smoking room.

Decent room for the price
Decent room for the price. The towels were a little scary, but I think they were clean, just stained. Room was passable. Nothing special, but we needed a very inexpensive place to spend the night and this fit our needs perfectly. The bed was quite comfortable - not too hard. I kept a close eye out for bugs, and was very happy to find none.

Problems !!!
They didn't know I was coming. It took 35 to 40 min to take care of it. This was after driving for almost 7hrs, and around midnight!

Hotel close to Funeral Home.
We had a funeral in Newark, hotel worked. Front desk was very friendly. .

Dirty room
It was very dirty in my room there were what looked like spit wads all over the walls and selling on one side of the room and in the bathroom they said they did not have time to go re clean the room for me I ended up cleaning my own room and changing the bedding and I took up all the dirty sheets and towels I used to clean the walls and the front desk lady was mad at me and was very rude and I'd like to say I have three boys I'm not a clean freak or a germs fob but spit on the wall come on clean the rooms

Not Recommended
Pleasant staff, but did not clean rooms to even Super 8 standards. Towels felt greasy, and were undersized. Halls smelled smoky, even though this was a non-smoking building.

Decent hotel if traveling with a pet.
I chose this hotel because they allowed pets. Overall, I was pleased with stay. Beds weren't the best and had some mildew odor from shower curtain but everything else was fine.

Needs to be updated
Hotel is older with older decor etc. Needs to be updated. Not a "Bad" hotel but could be better. It was convenient to the family we were visiting. Carpet needs to be replaced. Indoor hallways so you could hear EVERYTHING outside your door. Very annoying when you are trying to sleep.

There were signs around that said if there is a fire call 911. The hotel was not in good shape.

Good Economy hotel in Heath/Newark area.
This was a good economy hotel, in a quiet area. Restaurants and movies were close. Side road access marked. small breakfast offerings, but they are free. Would use again.

Upon entering the hotel it smelled like body odor and that smell carried through the whole place. Made us feel unconfortable and that the place was unclean. You get what you pay for.

Very nice stay.
Staff very courteous - room condition good (size, cleanliness & amenities) - price was very affordable. Our first stay there, but not our last!
